Winnebago County Sheriff John Matz will give an update on a consultant's study of the County Jail, communications upgrade and reflections on his beginning months as sheriff. WI Voter ID Law Information. The Winnebago County LWV will hold an informational meeting on the new Voter ID bill, explaining how the bill has changed voting in the state, and how voters lacking the necessary identification can secure it in time for the election. The public is encouraged to attend with questions on voting.

WI Voter ID Law Information. The Winnebago County LWV and ESTHER Fox Valley are sponsoring an informational meeting on the new Voter Photo ID bill. A staff member of the WI Government Accountability Board will be present to explain how the bill has changed voting in the state, and how voters lacking the necessary identification can secure it in time for the election. The public is encouraged to attend with questions on voting. Oshkosh Community Media Services will tape for later replay on CitiCable 10.

Thursday, March 8, 2012 6:30 - 8:30 pm Oshkosh City Hall, 215 Church Ave. Oshkosh Candidates Forum. LWV and Oshkosh Community Media Services will co-sponsor a candidates forum for Oshkosh City Council (6:30-7:15 pm) and Oshkosh Area School Board (7:20-8:30 pm). The public is welcome to attend and submit questions. The event will be aired live on Oshkosh CitiCable 10 and Oshkosh Community Radio WOCT 101.9 FM. Available via streaming video at http://www.oshkoshcommunitymedia.org for those without cable TV.
Tuesday, March 13, 2012 11:45 am Fox Valley Technical College, 150 N. Campbell Road, Oshkosh Food for Thought Lunch. Important: the regular second Wed lunch has been changed for March only to Tues. March 13. Melissa Kohn, FVTC Riverside Campus Director, will explain the FVTC referendum questions on the April 3 ballot. The public is welcome. Lunch available at FVTC cafeteria.
